Senior actor Rallapalli is no more

Tollywood senior actor Rallapalli (64) has died while undergoing treatment at Max Cure Hospital in Hyderabad today. His cause of death is identified to be an old age related illness.

Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao, popularly known as Rallapalli has acted in more than 850 films in Telugu and Tamil. Aha Naa Pellanta, Abhilasha, Coolie No.1, Chitram are a few among his best performances.

He also received three Nandi awards for his performance as a comedian and character artist and also a national award for his acting in Oorummadi Bathukulu. Rallapalli has started his acting career in 1979 with “Kukka Kaatuku Cheppu Debba” and he was last seen in “Bale Bale Magadivoy” in 2015, under Maruthi’s direction.

The entire film industry is mourning the senior actor’s death. MAA association has offered condolences to him. Rallapalli’s body has been shifted to his residence in Hyderabad.
