Screenplay is the driving force for Sabari, says Varalakshmi SarathKumar!

The acclaimed actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is eagerly waiting the release of her latest film, “Sabari,” a fast-paced action thriller set to hit theaters on May 3rd. During promotional activities, she shared insights into the film. Directed by Anil Katz and produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla, “Sabari” is presented by Maharshi Kondla under the Maha Movies banner.

Varalaxmi said that she was captivated by the story of “Sabari” even before her commitment to “Krack.” The script’s first impression was so strong that she immediately agreed to take on the role.

She said that life is synonymous with taking risks. She believes that the success of a film cannot be pre-judged. Both the director and producer placed their trust in her abilities and she delivered.

she teased that Ganesh Venkatraman has significant role in “Sabari” is something audiences should discover in theaters. She emphasizes that the film’s screenplay is its driving force, promising a thrilling experience that seamlessly integrates action into the narrative.

Despite being renowned for her intense roles, Varalaxmi said that she doesn’t shy away from playing a mother, a role she first embraced in “Poda Podi.” She views acting as a journey of embracing diverse characters and leaves it to the audience to judge her performances.

In “Sabari,” Varalaxmi portrays an ordinary woman facing the challenges of single motherhood and marital problems. The film promises to unveil a new facet of her acting as it delves into the profound mother-daughter relationship at its core.

She revealed that her fiancé Nikolai is her candid critic, offering straightforward feedback on her films. The couple is set to tie the knot later this year. Varalaxmi’s upcoming projects include “Kurma Nayaki,” a Tamil film with Dhanush, and “Max” alongside Kannada actor Sudeep. She also hints at several other projects currently in the pipeline.
