The House motion filed by the state govt in the Supreme Court about the local body election case has been rejected.
The AP state government has filed a house motion saying that the conduct of local body elections is not possible at present in the wake of the ongoing Covid vaccination process in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The state govt appealed for an urgent inquiry in the wake of the election notification being issued.
The employees across the state have reported to the Supreme Court that they are unable to attend duties without completing corona vaccination.
They also appealed for the protection of the constitutional right to life.
The Supreme Court, which has rejected the House motion, has ruled that a hearing will be held on Monday.
The apex court clarified that the notification could also be revoked under certain circumstances and the arguments should be heard on Monday.
