A series of attacks are taking place on temples in AP. Recently, another such incident took place in Rajamundry. Unidentified persons broke both the hands of the idol of Subramanyeshwara Swamy in Vigneswara temple.
The priests who opened the doors of the temple this morning noticed this and immediately informed the police. Central zone DSP Santhosh and CI Durga Prasad, who reached the spot, examined and investigated the people around. Police informed that a case would be registered on the incident and those who are responsible will be severely punished.
In this context, TDP leader Ganni Krishna reached the spot and reviewed the situation. He later said that attacks on Hindu temples and idols had become routine in the state.
