Starring Satya Dev in the lead role, ‘Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya’ was slated for a direct release on Netflix tomorrow, July 15th. But the latest updates suggest that the film is not releasing as per schedule.
Noted artist, TNR who is playing a key role in the film posted that it will almost certainly not release tomorrow and might be postponed to a future date.
Incidentally, even Netflix has removed ‘UMUR’ title from the list of this week’s releases and that pretty much confirms that the film is not releasing tomorrow.
The exact reason behind this postponement is unknown for now and an official announcement from the makers is expected to be made soon. It is likely that they will be announcing the new release date as well.
‘UMUR’ is the Telugu remake of Malayalam social drama ‘Mahesinte Prathikaaram’. Venkatesh Maha of C/O Kancharapalem fame is at the helm.
