In an era of social media, any small mistake will take the impact of it to the next level. Especially, if the mistake is committed by the government, then the netizens and the opposition party activists will jump to troll the ruling party. YSRCP is currently facing the similar situation.
On the occasion of sports day, the state government has arranged a flexie in front of AP assembly, that has Tennis star Sania Mirza’s picture on it, but the name under it is PT Usha. Adding to it, they’ve also printed a Telugu word in English as “Protasahakalu”, giving an extra boost to the meme makers.
Much to the worse, the pictures of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and minister Avanthi Srinivas were also printed on it sharing the troll credit with them also.
The social media warriors jumped into the action immediately and started trolling the state government. It has instantly become viral with thousands of comments and shares under it. While a few considered it as a laughing stock, a few others criticized the government, for having zero knowledge in sports and allegedly degrading the popular sports personalities through the banners of this sort. There is also an another version to the entire issue, that says the banner has been photoshopped by a few to troll the state government. So, the genuity in the post is yet to be made official.
