After a long hiatus, Amazon Prime Video today finally declared June 4, 2021 as the release date for the new season of its much awaited show, The Family Man, made by the maverick duo, Raj & DK.
Today Amazon Prime Video has released phenomenal trailer of the show that depicts the return of the nation’s most admirable Family Man aka Srikant Tiwari, essayed by Manoj Bajpayee.
This season Srikant Tiwari would compete against a new, intense and brutal opponent named Raaji, played by Samantha Akkineni. The 9-part season of the thriller drama will see Srikant continuing to juggle up his duties between being a middle class family man and a world class spy who is determined to save the nation from an impending event. This enthralling action-drama series will give a gripping glimpse of the two worlds of Srikant that is said to be interwoven with breathtaking visuals and intense edge-of-the-seat climax.
The trailer opens with a glimpse into the tribulations that Srikant faces in his marriage. The comic timing and humour that he carries in season one, is intact and however he switches jobs to be at a more serene place.
Soon, things turn tipsy turvy and Manoj lands unexpectedly in Chennai where an attack is likely being hatched. The trailer also offers tiny glimpses of Samantha’s deadly character, which seems to be grabbing all the attention. She is seen in grey shade unlike her previous bubbly roles.
Sam’s hubby Naga Chaitanya appreciated her role in the web series on social media and seem to be quite excited.
