Well, it appears to be that duologies are the way forward for South Indian cinema. It all started with Baahubali, which was made in two parts. Later, KGF and Pushpa followed the same formula.
Now, Prabhas’s Salaar is said to be on course to be made as a duology, meaning the film will be released in two parts.
The first part is likely to release by the end of 2022 and the second part will be out later next year.
Prashanth Neel opines that his story has enough potential and depth to be made in two parts. While the first part will give a look into the world of Salaar, the second part will be more of the penultimate one. Incidentally, this will be Prashanth’s second duology after KGF.
Team Salaar is likely to announce the 2-part release prospect very soon.
