‘Sakshi’ bags iSmart news anchor..? This is too much risk

Reports are out that Popular Telugu News anchor and reporter Chevella Ravi Kumar known for his TV pseudonym, Bithiri Satthi is all set to join the ‘Sakshi’ Media channel. Previously he worked with ‘V6 news’ and the most popular ‘TV9’ media houses.

Recently, Bithiri Satthi bid goodbye to TV9 and some say that it was ‘enough is enough’ kind of situation between the two and others say that Satthi’s prior commitments made him leave the TV9. However, he joined the Sakshi media channel which constantly gets criticized for its alleged favoritism on one political party in Andhra Pradesh.

Now, with Satti in the den, it is being said that the Sakshi management is planning some exclusive coverage with him in the name of the same ‘iSmart news’. Many media people and analysts opine that there are some risks with Satti being in Sakshi to its management which may getaway with time but at the wrong end, they will prove them very costly.

As per the political analysts and the media people, naming the same title ‘iSmart News’ to the Programme itself a blunder. Though Satti became popular with the same name for his popular programme, he is such a talented personality that any media heads can explore his versatility to a greater extent by creating a whole new concept. Of course, many AP people may not please with the name of the show.

Next, Satti is very good at reporting Telangana Politics and that is his strong zone. Now, Sakshi will definitely use his services to report AP politics given their needs. Even though there are a lot of fans in AP for Satthi’s slang and mannerism, it appears a bit awkward for the people of Andhra Pradesh. It is such a minus for the management if they want to confine such a versatile character like him to Telangana state politics considering all the odds.

Finally, there are strong reports that his name is in the list of the contestants for ‘Big Boss 4’. This is the most unpredictable reality show that brings immense craze and popularity to a person as well as the revelation of the extreme and true nature of the same. Some people came out of the show as heroes and the others got humiliated in social media very badly and lost their fame and name eventually.

Even though it is being said as the part and parcel of the show, it will be such a huge risk for Sakshi to let him enter the Big Boss house. Of course, any kind of risk is just a probability, and let’s just wish Bittiri Satti a very good time in the new media house.
