Inside News: Sai Pallavi refused to star opposite Bellamkonda in Chatrapathi remake

We know Bellamkonda Sreenivas is set to make his Bollywood debut with the Chatrapathi remake. The remake will be directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Studios.

For a long time now, the makers of the remake are trying to lock a perfect leading lady for Bellamkonda’s grand Hindi debut. Earlier, it was heard the team approached B-Town heroines like Kiara Advani and many others. Even after offering huge pay, the Hindi beauties refused to join the cast of the film.

The latest update is that the makers offered a massive Rs 2 Cr remuneration for Sai Pallavi to star opposite Bellamkonda Sreenivas. But the actress turned down the offer, citing her busy schedules. It remains to be seen who will step into Shriya Saran’s shoes for the remake.

The remake marks the reunion of Bellamkonda Sreenivas and VV Vinayak after they worked together in 2014 for Alludu Seenu.
