Russia mentioned that they successfully found the vaccine for Covid-19 and named it as ‘Sputnik-5’. Russia declared that around 20 countries including India requested for the vaccine. While other well developed countries are still scratching their heads over the vaccine, Russia’s effort in creating a vaccine is raising several doubts for the nations.
US officials struck the Russia’s vaccine claim saying there is no sufficient info to prove. Germany stated that they have doubts on whether the vaccine is properly tested. Israel wants to wait to see the complete results and test the vaccine in a full fledged way before approving it in their country.
Philippines and Brazil wants to work closely with Russia in the next few days to understand the research on the vaccine before using it in their countries. WHO is waiting on the clinical trails results of this vaccine before speaking on it. While Russia claims itself to be the winner of the Covid-19 vaccine race, the nation called the negative comments of few countries to be groundless.
