It is a known fact that Pan India star Prabhas’ upcoming film Salaar with Prashanth Neel is progressing in a full swing. After the big success of the KGF franchise, Prashanth Neel has become one of the most sought filmmakers in the country and the forthcoming action drama film has caught the attention of the entire nation. With two powerhouses like Prabhas and Neel coming together, the deals for the rights of the movie have also gone to the sky.
The latest buzz is that the makers are aiming to close the digital rights for a whopping Rs 200 crore. Going by reports, the team is set to close the final deal for all languages between Rs 180 and Rs 200 crore, which is a never before deal for any South film. Since Salaar is a pan-Indian film, which reaches a wider audience, the OTT platforms are said to have an evincing interest in taking the offer.
Salaar will release on 28 September 2023 in Telugu and dubbed versions of Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. Bankrolled by Hombale Films, the movie will also feature Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu.
