In a sensational development, RRR has beaten the long-standing record held by Baahubali 2 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Baahubali 2 had collected a mighty impressive Rs 213 crores in the twin Telugu states and this is the highest collections tally for any film till now.
The long-standing record is now breached by RRR. The Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer has collected over Rs 215 crores share in the twin Telugu states in just 9 days.
Essentially, RRR broke Baahubali 2’s record in just 9 days and that is as impressive as it can get. Despite the abnormally high ticket prices, RRR is doing very well in the domestic market and that is resulting in very good collections.
The film is expected to fare well this Ugadi weekend as well. There are estimates that the film might more than Rs 250 crores share here.
