Rohit Sharma fans outraged over Swiggy

The 14th season of IPL (IPL 2021) is in full swing. Recently, Mumbai Indians won against Kolkata Knight Riders. Swiggy tweeted about Rohit Sharma before this match ended and with which Swiggy embroiled in controversy. Currently, #BoycottSwiggy is trending fiercely on social media.

Before the match, a user shared an edited picture of Rohit on social media, in which Rohit is seen catching Vada Pav on the roadside and tagged Swiggy.

Responding to this, Swiggy said that haters would say that this is Photoshop. Swiggy probably wanted to bring a smile to the faces of Rohit fans, but Swiggy’s stance backfired. Fans started trolling Swiggy. After this, Swiggy had deleted this tweet. In the meanwhile, Rohit fans outraged and they started sharing screenshots of Swiggy’s tweet. Some fans even shared a screenshot of uninstalling this app from their mobile phones. It remains to be seen how Swiggy would respond to this.
