Roads should be made like Katrina Kaif’s cheeks!

Newly appointed Rajasthan minister and Congress leader Rajendra Singh Gudha has sparked controversy after his comments comparing the state’s roads to Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif’s cheeks went viral.

While interacting with people in Udaipurwati, the Minister said, “In my constituency, the roads should be made like Katrina Kaif’s cheeks.” He made these remarks, looking towards the chief engineer of the Public Works Department present at the meeting after some villagers demand that the roads in the area be repaired.

However, this is not the first time politicians have compared roads to the cheeks of celebrities. In 2005, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav had made similar remarks when he had assured to make Bihar’s roads as smooth as Hema Malini’s cheeks.

In 2019, Madhya Pradesh law minister PC Sharma said the state’s pothole-ridden roads would soon be made pretty like the ‘Dream Girl’ star’s cheeks.
