Internet services restored on Friday evening because of the improvement in the condition in the riotous Bhainsa city and other cities. Also, a decision will be taken today regarding the municipal elections in Bhainsa. Some political parties have demanded the government to suspend the Bhainsa municipal.
Let us tell you that curfew imposed in the city of Bhainsa after the violent incident between two groups in the town on Sunday. The curfew for the day was relaxed by 12 hours on Tuesday. The curfew and 144 sections in the city have entirely lifted. But people are nervous about leaving their homes. Most of the urban shops closed. Many people have left the city and migrated to other villages.
Due to this, authorities had stopped internet services in addition to Bhainsa city in Adilabad, Nirmal, Asifabad, Mancherialas, Bellampalli, Utnoor, and other cities. For the last three days, no untoward incident has come to light. Because of this, Internet services have restored.
CI Venugopal said that 55 people had been arrested so far following the violent incident between the two groups. He also informed that the candidates who are standing in Municipal elections had requested to start campaigning. But no candidate is coming forward to the campaign.
The senior police officer said that additional police force would be deployed in the town of Bhainsa till the Municipal elections held. He also informed that a total of 900 police personnel would implement in the city, including 240 rapid forces, 150 special police, AR, civil constables, and special police forces. On the other hand, analysts believe that a violent event is likely to have an impact on the Municipal election on January 22.
