Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had assured the people of the economically backward classes in the last election. They have taken active steps towards fulfilling these assurances. Under this, he reviewed in the camp office with BC Study Committee, BC class ministers, and social class representatives.
Before the last assembly elections, a committee was formed under the leadership of Janga Krishnamurthy to solve the problems of the BC class. The Committee submitted the report after studying the status of BC class people.
It also decided to take action on this. Chief Minister agreed to cooperate with the Committee on pending and ignored issues such as welfare and development of nomad.
The steps are taken to improve the standard of living of the BC community reviewed. A category has created for BC class having a population from 10 thousand to one lakh. At the same time, the second category will include for BC class having a community from one lakh to 10 lakh and third category for BC class having a population of more than 10 lakh.
During the review, it also decided to form a corporation. CM Jagan ordered to take steps through the corporation for the development of the concerned class. By recognizing the nomadic and unknown level of less than ten thousand, they too will be included in the stream of social welfare and development.
