PM Narendra Modi met CM Mamata Banerjee on Saturday evening in Kolkata. The PM is in Kolkata to participate in the 150th-anniversary celebrations of the Kolkata Port Trust. After meeting PM Modi at Raj Bhavan, CM Mamata Banerjee said that I told the PM that we are against CAA, NRC, and NPR.
I asked the PM to withdraw CAA, NPR, and NRC. West Bengal is against it. Responding to this, PM Modi said that he had come here to attend some other event. There will be a talk in Delhi on this issue. At the same time, PM Modi also asked Mamta Banerjee to come to Delhi. After meeting PM Modi, Mamta Banerjee took part in the sit-in demonstration of TMC students against CAA in Kolkata.
