Ever since Revanth Reddy was made the president of the Telangana Congress party, he has been making a lot of noise in the state and has been very active politically. He has managed to make the Congress party active in the state once again, by pulling off one or the other stunt – be it criticizing KCR, or anything else.
Ahead of the general elections, Revanth Reddy is fully active currently, and he recently countered the various statements made by the BJP and BRS parties. With respect to the BJP, Revanth Reddy questioned how many BC CMs are there in the ten states that BJP is currently in power. He also asked how the party would be able to fulfill that promise when the party is not even ready to conduct a backward caste census, which would enable the party to make a BC the CM.
On the other hand, responding to BRS’s claim of the state being robbed of electricity if the Congress party comes to power, Revanth Reddy said that the BRS is itself buying power from Chattisgarh, which is ruled by the Congress party. He went on to highlight the fact that the BRS party failed to come up with any electric plant that would produce enough electricity for the state. He said that the BRS is falsely proclaiming that the farmers of the state are being given twenty-four hours of electricity when in reality, they are being given only seven to eight hours of electricity.
