“RDX Love” movie review

Cast: Payal Rajput, Tejus, Sr Naresh etc.

Music: Radhan

Director: Shankar Bhanu

Producer: C Kalyan

Release Date: October 11th, 2019

Payal Rajput, who acquired a decent fame with her debut RX 100, made sure RDX Love gets an immediate attention. The teasers and trailers are filled with the bold content of Payal and got an enough buzz. But is there anything else, other than such bold content in the film? Let’s get into the review.

Story:

A village is in a dire need of a bridge, as it reduces the distance from a place, where all their resources can be fulfilled. The repeated requests of the villagers, find no use. Then Alivelu (Payal Rajput) enters the scene and plans to take the issue till the Chief Minister.

Did she succeed in her attempt and get the bridge to the village? Where did Siddhu (Tejus) finds a space in the film and did he offer any support to Alivelu? The answers to the questions can be found in RDX Love.

Performances:

Payal Rajput, who is known for her glamorous performance repeated the same in RDX Love too. Though her character is working for a good cause and has good scope for acting skills, it seems, the director completely ignored projecting it and concentrated only on her skin show. Her glamour performance is, however a treat to the mass audience.

Tejus character in the film has no great significance, as the crux of the film revolves around Payal only. But he came up with a subtle performance for the limited role he was offered. Rest other roles are okay.

Shankar Bhanu, who won the critics appreciation for his first film “Ordinary”, completely failed in every aspect of RDX Love. An old story with an over dosage of glamour, completely diverts the plot.

The title, posters, teasers and trailers, hinted that the film is going to be an out and out love story. But, that is not at all the case in RDX Love. Coming to the screenplay, unnecessary double meaning dialogues and tracks irritate the audience.

Radhan songs and background score fail to make any impact on the screen. Editing is a total failure, as there are several scenes, that needs a thorough trimming. C Kalyan’s production values are rich, but are wasted for a worthless film.

Plus points:

– Payal Rajput glamor
– Tulasi episode
– One or two emotional scenes

Minus points

– Predictable story
– Boring screenplay
– Vulgar comedy and irritating romance

Analysis:

As a notable heroine like Payal Rajput has agreed to do the film, it seems, the makers tried to pull the best out of her. That could be the reason, for them to concentrate only on her glamour show, rather than the story and screenplay. Except Payal’s skin show, there is  absolutely nothing to discuss about RDX Love.

Finally: RDX Love- Peaks of vulgarity.
