Raveena Tandon reveals about her role in KGF: Chapter 2

With southindian films grabbing the attention across India, currently Bollywood film makers have been showing interest to acquire remake rights. On the other hand, the actors too started foraying into the South Indian film industries.

Post the humongous accomplishment of KGF, fans are very excited about the sequel of the Yash starrer period drama, which additionally features Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in crucial roles. The actress who was last seen in Shab, has just finished the shooting and will begin its dubbing session soon.

Earlier she said that her role has grey shades and was excited to reunite with Sanjay dutt but never revealed her character. On questioning about her role once again recently, the actress finally disclosed, “I am playing a politician, which is a solid character. She is the hero just as the antagonist of the film, with an extremely intriguing story twist.” The actress also shared about a less known skill that she had been penning scripts and has already finished four shows that have commenced the preproduction stage and looks to produce them as well.

After wrapping up the shoot in February, Raveena lauded Yash for his stellar performance and said it was an amazing experience to work with him. Raveena Tandon plays the role of Ramika Sen in the film, while Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role of Adheera, which is a powerful villain role and is often being compared to Thanos in Avengers.

KGF: Chapter 2 is Directed by Prashanth Neel under the production banner ‘Hombale Films’. It has a star studded cast like Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Malavika Avinash in pivotal roles.
