Recently, it was reported that Tollywood actor, producer and director R Narayana Murthy was in a dire financial situation and could not even afford his house rent. There have been speculations circulating in the media that the ace actor is financially distressed and his condition is deplorable.
Now, Narayana Murthy, who got deeply hurt by these rumours, said in a statement that his financial situation is good and that he preferred a very simple lifestyle, so everyone felt he was financially damaged.
“I don’t have a car. I would go anywhere in the auto. My auto expenses alone are Rs 30000 per month. It seems embarrassing to mention that I’m in such a situation that I can not even afford rent,” he said.
“I like the rural atmosphere. That’s why I stay away from the city. I’ve earned enough money. I stored enough and gave the rest to charities,” added Mr Murthy.
The filmmaker has also said that the voluntary response of people, who have come forward to help, touched and moved him.
