Janasena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan demanded that the cremated remains (asthikalu) of freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandrabose should be brought back to the country.
The actor, who participated in Netaji’s book review written by MVR Sastry at Shilpa Kala Vedika, asked the center to bring back the ashes of Chandrabose from Renkoji temple in Japan and to be placed at Red Fort in India.
Pawan Kalyan also requested everyone to support the cause by trending #RenkojiToRedFort #BringBackNetajiAshes on Twitter. He also proposed to print the image of Bose on currency notes of our country. He further asked the people to put a pressure on the centre to bring back Chandrabose’s ashes.
The Janasenani also said that we do not deserve to be in this country if we do not remember the great people who gave their lives for the country. He hailed Netaji as the first to bring the Jai Hind slogan.
