Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri, who experienced success with Nani’s Dasara, has once again faced disappointment with his latest film, Rangabali.
Despite hoping for a reversal of fortunes, Rangabali received a poor response from both audiences and critics. The film’s weak word-of-mouth translated into minimal collections on its opening day, and unfortunately, the situation did not improve over the weekend.
Consequently, Rangabali has turned out to be a significant box office disaster. With only around 2.7 Crores in worldwide collections during its first weekend, trade circles predict that the film’s final tally will fall below 4 Crores.
This setback places Sudhakar Cherukuri back into the unfortunate streak of failures, underscoring the unpredictable nature of the film industry and the challenges faced by producers. It remains to be seen when he will be able to break free from this series of disappointments and regain his footing in the industry.
