Filmmaker C Kalyan has landed in legal trouble. The Banjara Hills police have booked him for allegedly trespassing and threatening people at Film Nagar on Monday.
As per reports, Mitti Gopi Krishna (57), a resident of Trimulgherry, has lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police against C Kalyan alleging that the producer’s men had entered his land illegally and made threats.
In his complaint, he said that his elder brother Mitti Swaroop, who lives in the United States, had acquired a plot measuring 634 square yards at Film Nagar.
On Monday, three people, Sharoof, Srikanth and Tejaswi, entered into the plot and threatened the tenant Narayana Murthy. When they were questioned, they told that they had trespassed as per the directions of Kalyan for taking ownership of the plot. The police, who registered the case, launched an investigation.
