Corona virus scare is shaking every industry possible. There are numerous speculations on how this virus can spread. There has been news that corona virus can spread through currency notes. Since the news broke out everyone are interested to do digital payments.
Now people can easily figure out that if virus can contain on currency notes, it can easily on papers, news papers to be precise. This speculation is taking down the entire print media.
On the other side, print media is trying its best to announce that corona virus doesn’t spread on papers. On top of it they are taking extreme cares while printing the papers. When printing, media houses are sanitizing them. But people aren’t going to convinced that easily.
Already with digital media in boom, print media has its problems. Now with corona virus scare adding to it, print media is definitely in grave danger.
Already Andhra Jyothi has removed tabloid edition and printing all of them in main paper. Eenadu too is going in the same path. Soon every paper will go in the same direction it seems.
However there are some who says print media specialty is always there. Having said that print media is having trouble with corona virus can’t be denied.
