RS Praveen Kumar is one of the most controversial IPS officers of Telangana. In a shocking turn of events, he announced a voluntary retirement from his post yesterday. With this, there are several rumours of his political entry going around. Praveen’s friends are saying that he intends to put up his own party in the state, with the name Jai Bheem.
On the other hand, others are saying that Praveen is going to join the TRS party and that he would be contesting in the Huzurabad by-polls from the TRS party’s side. Praveen joining TRS is being said a major probability as the TRS government always let any controversies on Praveen Kumar slide away, without any consequences.
Praveen Kumar, despite being an IPS officer, was the Secretary of the Gurukuls in Telangana. He recently is said to have insulted the Hindu Gods at an event, and several such other allegations about him exist as well. Despite that, the TRS government took no action against him all these years. This is the main reason for everyone thinking that Praveen would indeed join the TRS.
