Prashanth Neel is now one of the most sought-after directors in South Indian film industry, all thanks to the humongous success of KGF: Chapter 1. Interestingly, multiple top-tier Telugu heroes including the likes of Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, and Jr NTR are ready to work with him now.
However, it is heard that Prashanth is not willing to rush his Telugu debut and he is prioritising Kannada industry above all.
As of now, Prashant can think of his upcoming project only after he completes KGF 2. But the film might not be wrapped up anytime soon as Sanjay Dutt who is playing a key role in the film has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. He will be leaving to USA for treatment and will return to India only after he is cured. This will result in an indefinite delay of KGF 2 shoot.
The climax portion of KGF 2 is yet to be shot and a prolonged schedule of regular schedule is imminent. With so much going on, Prashanth will not be in a position to even contemplate his upcoming project.
Moreover, Prashanth is obliged to a Kannada film after KGF 2. Taking all this into consideration, he might not be making his debut into Telugu film industry in the near future. So, reports about Prashanth’s maiden Telugu film featuring Prabhas, Jr NTR, or Mahesh Babu are just rumors for now and nothing is confirmed thus far.
