Prabhas, without a doubt, is one of the top stars in Indian cinema currently. His craze, box-office pull, and popularity are next to none and there are no second thoughts about it.
Naturally, any top-billed star would prefer seasoned and experienced film-makers over young directors, but that is not the case with Prabhas.
The macho star worked with Sujeeth, a very young director for Saaho after scoring a magnanimous hit with Baahubali. Now, he is working with another one-film old director, Radha Krishna Kumar for Radhe Shyam.
Incidentally, Prabhas’s upcoming projects Adipurush, and Salaar will be directed by Om Raut and Prashnath Neel respectively. Neither of these film-makers have directed more than 2-3 films.
It is very much evident that Prabhas is encouraging young and fresh talent and is not running after star directors.
It is said that Prabhas is willing to continue the same trend in the future as well as he wishes to work with new-age film-makers. He opines that young directors can make films which cater to a large section of the audience and is placing his trust in them.
