Of late, there have been speculations that popular south actress Malavika Mohanan has been roped in to play the second heroine role in Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. With the news about her inclusion into the project getting the attention of everyone, the diva today took to Twitter to respond to the rumours.
Taking to the micro-blogging site, Malavika said that she is not a part of Pawan Kalyan’s movie. However, she also revealed that she is making her debut in Tollywood with an amazing Telugu film in which she plays the main lead, not the second heroine.
“Have so much admiration for Pawan Kalyan sir, but have to clarify I’m not a part of this project 🙂 I’m currently working on an amazing Telugu film (as the main lead, not the second) which will be my debut in Telugu cinema, an industry I’m excited to dive into,” she wrote in her post.
Directed by Harish Shankar, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is one of the much-anticipated projects from Pawan Kalyan’s lineup. The movie marks the second collaboration of the actor-director duo after the success of Gabbar Singh in 2012.
