Poll reports: 70% Indians boycotting Chinese products

As the tensions are building up between India and China, Network18 conducted a polling on how many people will actually boycott Chinese products. In the polling, around 70% of the Indians confirmed that they won’t be using Chinese products. 97% of the people felt that the celebrities who are currently endorsing Chinese products should stop doing that.

92% of the people felt that that threat from China to India is higher than the threat from Pakistan to India. 52% people finalized that the nation should start producing its own products and stay self sufficient rather than importing from China.

After the recent India-China clash, the sentiments of the Indians were said to have strengthened towards Swadeshi products and the recent polling reflects the same. Indian Government too is working on the same by imposing restrictions on Chinese products and improving the quality of the Indian made products. This situation might be the start of a new self sufficient India.
