Police registered a case against Ashok Gajapathi Raju

The MANSAS Trust employees salary dispute has taken another turn. Vijayanagaram One Town police have registered a case against former Union Minister and MANSAS Trust chairperson P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju and ten of the employees in this regard.

Three days ago, MANSAS employees lodged a complaint with Ashok Gajapathi Raju alleging that EO Venkateswara Rao was withholding their salaries and troubling them for a long time. They protested that he had not been paid for 19 months. In this context, police have registered a case against Mr Gajapathi Raju and the employees.

However, the employees say it is unfair to register a complaint against them as they were protesting for their salaries. On the other hand, they also opposed naming Mr Gajapathi Raju in the complaint.

Ashok Gajapathi Raju, who recently responded to the issue of staff salaries, said that it is not moral for the EO to hold the salaries of the employees.
