Police have arrested Purushottam Naidu and Padmaja for brutally murdering their two daughters Alekhya (27) and Saidivya (22) at home.
They were shifted to Madanapalle police station. Purushottam Naidu has been named as A1 and Padmaja as A2 in the twin murder case.
They were scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, Padmaja got into another altercation with the police who entered their house.
She pleaded with the police not to wear shoes or take photos in God’s room.
She blamed her husband Purushottam Naidu saying that ”Why are you showing my daughters to them? All this happened because of you.” Padmaja pleaded with the police to give her one more chance. “Please listen one day, sir. My children will be alive by tomorrow. Leave this one day.” She also behaved strangely, gesturing with her hands while being taken away by police.
