Police caught the perpetrator in the Kakinada Nukalamma Temple issue!!

Recently, the trident in the hands of the goddess was destroyed in the Nukalamma temple in Kondayyapalem, Kakinada. The incident took place on January 10th.

As the police department is on high alert following a series of attacks on temples in the state, the police caught the man responsible for this atrocity soon.

The temple committee lodged a complaint with the police. Kakinada police immediately rushed to the scene.

Installation of CCTV’s led to the identification of the perpetrator. Vanumu Lakshmana Rao alias Lachanna of the same village was found guilty.

On January 9th, he came to the Nukalamma temple after drinking heavily. Then, he broke the trident in the hands of those idols.

At that moment, some people saw him doing this but no one stopped him as he was heavily drunk. Police arrested Lachanna after collecting evidence from CCTV cameras.
