The Serum Institute has entered into an agreement for the production of the vaccine in our country. Human trials of this vaccine are already in the final stages.

Poonawala, CEO of the Serum Institute, said the Oxford vaccine was cheap and safe. It has been revealed that 20 crore vaccines are likely to be available by March 2021. Indigenous vaccine Kovaggin, on the other hand, is also preparing for a third phase of trials. The third phase of clinical trials on the vaccine, which is being developed by Bharat Biotech-ICMR, have begun today.
