Over Rs 900 Cr credited to bank accounts of 2 boys in Bihar

Crores of rupees were found in the bank accounts of two sixth-grade students. The rest of the villagers lined up at the ATMs after realizing that so much money had fallen overnight. But realizing that no such magic had happened to them, they all returned home in disappointment. Now, this issue has become a hot topic in the Katihar district of Bihar.

The Bihar government will deposit some amount in the students’ accounts for school uniforms and other expenses. Some students went to the internet centre and checked to see if they had received any money under the scheme. It is learned that crores of money were deposited in the accounts of the two students at that time.

Ashish Kumar, a sixth-grader, had Rs 6.2 crore in his account and another student, Gurucharan Biswas, had Rs 900 crore in his account. After learning this incident, villagers lined up at ATMs to find out if there was anything like that in their accounts. Both the children are native of Pastia village in Bagahura Panchayat. They have bank accounts in Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank.

Udayan Mishra, the district magistrate of Katihar also confirmed that the children have received a hefty amount. “Big amounts were credited in the accounts of two children. The amount can be seen in the mini statements. The senior officials of the bank are being informed,” Mishra said.
