Rishab Shetty’s Kannada film Kantara, which was released on September 30, is still attracting a decent number of footfalls in theatres. The action thriller film emerged as a stupendous blockbuster in Karnataka and it received a similar response from the audience in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil.
The latest reports suggest that Kantara will soon make its OTT debut as its theatrical run is likely to close next week. As per the unconfirmed reports, the movie will be premiering on a digital streaming platform on November 4. However, the makers have not given an official date on when it will be released on the OTT platform.
Revolving around a traditional dance for the deity ‘Bhootha Kola’, Kantara featured Kishore, Sapthami Gowda, Achyuth Kumar and Pramod Shetty in crucial roles. It is produced by Hombale Films.
