It is officially confirmed now. A total of 301 feature films are in contention for the Oscars 2023 and there are a handful of entries from India as well.
The Indian nominees are RRR, The Kashmir Files, Kantara, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Vikrant Rona, All That Breathes, Chhello Show, Iravin Nizhal, Me Vasantrao and Tuzhyasathi Kahihi.
Of all the films, RRR has the best chance and shot at the Oscars as Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan are running a winning campaign for the film.
At the screening that was held in the USA yesterday, the members of the organization responsible for Oscars were seen clapping and applauding RRR. They even shouted “best picture of the year”.
This is a clear indication that RRR is the clear favorite from India to actually have a shot at the Oscars.
