Several public properties, including government buildings, government schools,, drinking water tanks, several statues of notable personalities, and many other buildings and other things, are smothered in a single party’s colours.
This aspect caused a lot of trouble and even got the judiciary involved a long time ago, with the Andhra Pradesh High Court passing strict orders about no single party’s colours being present on any government or public property.
Loads of money was then wasted in removing and applying new paints to the buildings on which this party’s colours were painted.
Now, yet again, the same thing is happening, with the TIDCO houses that are being built for the poor in the Vizianagaram District. These houses were already painted previously, but they are once again getting a makeover, which is surprising everyone.
The construction of nearly 2,656 houses is nearing completion in this area, and the supply of essential necessities is the only thing left to do now.
TIDCO DE Balakrishna said that the buildings were being painted in blue and cream, following orders from the govenrment.
