Going into the details, Vijay Rao, India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, had filed a case against Saaho Producers V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, Vikram Reddy of UV Creations and Himak Duvvuru, CEO of KWAN (South) Celebrity Service Pvt Ltd.
He stated that the team of Saaho had duped his company for Rs 38 Lakh by promising to show their product in Saaho. It seems that the producers of Saaho did not keep their promise.
Madhapur SI, B Veera Prasad told that the manufacturing company manufactures ‘Arctic Fox’ bags, who made an agreement with UV Creations through KWAN to promote Arctic Fox Bags through Saaho movie. On July 8, 2019, both the parties made an agreement and according to the agreement, the firm had reportedly paid Rs 37 Lakh to UV creations and Rs 1.49 Lakh to KWAN (South) Celebrity Service Pvt Ltd.
The complainant revealed that his firm had spent about Rs 1 Crore of additional amount to promote the product along with the movie through digital marketing. He went to say that they were shocked to see that their firm’s bag was not used in the film.
Police sent the complaint for legal opinion.
