It is known that the people of Amaravathi were doing protests against the YSRC government for speaking on different capital city regions for AP. The protests have been going on for almost 2 weeks and few Police officials were said to have taken severe action on protesters.
Responding to this act, the people in the 29 villages of Amaravathi decided to stop supplying water and food to the Police officials. Yesterday, it turned out to be a tough day for the Police as most of the people didn’t care to even respond to the requests of Police. Majority of the women Police suffered due to the lack of water and food.
Senior Police officers decided to bring in the water and food supplies from Vijayawada for the Police staff in Amaravathi. Situation is turning more and more serious and the TDP is strongly supporting the farmers who are the majority members in the protests.
