With summer approaching, cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the IPL 2021. The BCCI has already started preparations in this context. Currently, only Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Delhi have been selected as venues for the IPL. From this, it is clear that the matches will not be played at the Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad.
The IPL will also be held in Mumbai if the Maharashtra state government gives permission. In that case, Hyderabad will also get a chance. Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Mohali have also been left out of the list. The BCCI hopes to hold matches in as few venues as possible as the corona effect has not yet fully controlled.
