New rules commenced for the supply of ration goods in AP

With the lockdown being in force with some flaws in the AP, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s orders have been however finalized for the third time.

External Affairs Secretary Kona Shashidhar has issued guidelines to revenue officials and dealers on what kind of goods should be given and how to perform social distancing. The beneficiaries ought to follow them to fetch ration items and get back home without any issues.

Rice card holders will have free merchandise through ration shops from April 29 to May 10 as per the norms of lockdown. Eligible citizens are instructed to take ration goods and time slot to each individual is also issued respectively. At each ration shop, about 30 people will receive essential goods in a day.

First phase of delivery is provided by the VRO or other authorities’ bio-metric in both cases. In the third installment, the beneficiary’s own biometric is required. Sanitizers and masks are available at all ration shops as part of Corona care.

Every beneficiary before using the biometric should spray hands with the sanitizer and imprint before the hands are dried. The ration dealer should take care to make it happen in an organized way.

Dealer is instructed to maintain a sanitizer mandatorily. In case of its absence, citizens have all rights to impede the supply and file a police complaint.
