One of the principal promises made by the Revanth Reddy-Congress government in Telangana has been the implementation of the farmer loan waiver scheme.
Though Revanth Reddy promised to implement this scheme by the 9th of December right after he became the CM, this wasn’t imposed on time.
However, CM Revanth Reddy has changed his track on the loan waiver scheme now as he has claimed that the new deadline for the Runa Mafi implementation is August 15.
The new promise made by CM Revanth is that the scheme will be implemented by the 15th of August which marks Independence Day.
The farmer community in Telangana is eagerly awaiting the loan waiver of up to Rs 2 lakh scheme announced by the Congress. But the Congress has gone back on the word and has mentioned a new date. But will this delay affect their chances in the MP polls?
