In a new twist to the ongoing drug case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a sudden raid at the actor Arjun Rampal residence area in Mumbai in alleged drug nexus. The actor’s house was raided a day after Agisialos, brother of his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was captured. They recovered 10 grams of Marijuana from the residence.
The central drug law enforcement agency detained the Nigerian citizen after news reports about his contact with drug peddlers circulated in the drugs case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput death Previously. Ex- Dharma Productions employee Kshitij Prasad too was captured in the same case earlier. Both Agisialos and Prasad were in touch with a Nigerian national, arrested for peddling cocaine in Mumbai.
Earlier, the NCB had probed Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor in link with the case, while Riya Chakraborty was set free for no proper evidence.
Reportedly, officials recovered few drugs from residence of the producer Firoz Nadiadwala too. The producer was not seen at his home during the raid. His wife was quizzed by the NCB officials at their office.
