Lady superstar Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan are now married. After being in love for over 6 years, the adorable couple tied the knot today in a dreamy wedding ceremony at Sheraton Park in Mahabalipuram. The intimate ceremony, which was surrounded by family and close friends, had actors Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Suriya, and Vijay, and filmmakers Mani Ratnam and Atlee in attendance.
After the wedding, Vignesh Shivan shared the first picture from their memorable day. The adorable photo features the duo dressed in their wedding outfits and the filmmaker is seen is kissing Nayan on the forehead.
Along with the picture, the director also penned an aww-worthy note. “On a scale of 10…She’s Nayan & am the One. With God’s grace, the universe, all the blessings of our parents & best of friends. Jus married #Nayanthara, #WikkiNayan #wikkinayanwedding,” he wrote.
Vignesh Shivan met Nayanthara during the narration of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015. They fell in love during the film’s shooting.
