Narendra Modi is to bring the ‘Army’ into the country?

After the central government has decided to extend the lockdown till May 3rd, the majority of the Indians expressed their distress and helplessness as they are being fed up with these restrictions.

Even though the governments have decided to provide some financial aid by depositing some amount into the bank accounts of the citizens, it is not going to make up for the loss that the poor and the middle class are facing.

More than any other people in the country, the migrant workers who are in other states are facing extreme difficulties during this lockdown. In Mumbai’s Bandra, the migrant workers defied government orders by gathering at a railway station in Mumbai with one demand – “SEND US HOME.”

Police had to use force to disperse the tightly-packed crowd of more than 1,000 people, mostly made up of migrant workers looking for a way to go back home. This huge fightback from the laborers happened soon after the center has decided to extend the 21-day lockdown to another 18 days.

Now, Narendra Modi is thinking to bring to Indian Army personnel into the country and most probably their presence will be restricted to the troublesome areas. The Central government is under the impression that these kinds of gatherings not only disrupt the nation’s peace but also serve as a potential venue for community transmission.

After all this is a result of the Union Govt’s failure for not being able to take a call on arranging a way back home for migrant labour. They don’t want food or shelter, they just want to go back home.
