Nani to implement NO-OTT rule from now

Nani is probably the only mainstream Telugu star to have two direct to digital releases. Later last year, V, an action thriller starring Nani premiered on Amazon Prime Video.

Now, Nani’s Tuck Jagadish is set to premiere on Amazon Prime. The film is likely to be made available for streaming on 10th September.

Incidentally, Nani was against V’s OTT release last year and he is firmly against Tuck Jagadish’s OTT release now as well. Nani is fully inclined towards theatrical release but the conditions pertaining to the Covid outbreak are dictating the terms now and there is nothing he can do about it.

However, Nani is said to have taken a strict no-OTT stand now. He wants none of his upcoming films to go the OTT way. He has made it clear to the producers of his forthcoming projects that none of his films should skip theatrical release.

Starting from Shyam Singha Roy, all of Nani’s upcoming films will release only in theaters.
