Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met Congress president Rahul Gandhi at New Delhi on Saturday. In a one hour-long meeting, the duo discussed on the future action plan after the election results, and over re-polling at Chandragiri Assembly constituency.
Adding to it, they also planned to call upon all the leaders of anti-BJP parties for a meeting on 21st or 22nd. Or else, they may ask representatives of 21 parties to remain available in Delhi, so that they can meet President of India and submit a memorandum, urging him to invite the alliance first. Naidu and Rahul Gandhi are expecting that the alliance would get over 340 seats.
Meanwhile, Naidu is also set to meet BSP Chief Mayawati and also SP leader Akhilesh Yadav today, to discuss about the alliance. However, all such trials would depend on the political prospects of the respective parties which are scheduled to be out on 23rd of this month. While Telangana Chief Minister KCR and YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy are unwilling to share the alliance with TDP, it should be seen whether Naidu would make any attempts to bring them into the alliance with Congress.
