The first thing that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did after becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, was to destruct the Praja Vedika built by ex-Chief Minsiter Nara Chandrababu Naidu, in the previous term. Praja Vedika was built at the cost of crores of rupees, all of which were razed to the ground, by Jagan’s decision.
It’s been three years to this day since Praja Vedika has been destroyed. Marking the occasion, Naidu said that the destruction of Praja Vedika by Jagan was an insight into the kind of regime that the YSRCP would bring about in the state. He said that this was indicative of the similar destructive steps that Jagan took with respect to the livelihoods of Dalits in the state, the future of the youth, Polavaram and Amaravati projects, among many others.
On the other hand, Naidu is currently touring the entire state, with an intent to tour all the districts of the state in the next year. The main aim of this tour is to highlight every aspect of the YSRCP’s rule, something that set the state behind by several years, and to also tell the people the kind of development they need, for the state to thrive in the coming years.
